How to Wear 3 Mukhi Rudraksha: Activation and Puja Rituals

To experience the full benefits of the 3 Mukhi Rudraksha, it is important to follow the prescribed rituals for its activation and purification. These rituals have been practiced for centuries and hold spiritual significance. Here are two types of puja rituals that can be performed:

Simplified Puja Ritual:

1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the Rudraksha or Rudraksha mala with Gangajal or Panchamrut (a mixture of five sacred substances).
2. Take some sandalwood paste in your hands and gently apply it to the 3 Mukhi Rudraksha, ensuring complete coverage.
3. Use an agarbatti (incense stick) or camphor to purify the Rudraksha by passing it through the smoke.
4. Sprinkle white flowers over the Rudraksha as a symbolic offering.
5. If you are performing the puja at home, touch the Rudraksha to a photo of Lord Shiva. If you are in a temple, touch it to a shivling (symbolic representation of Lord Shiva) and chant ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ 11 times.
6. Once the puja is completed, you can now wear the Rudraksha and embrace its spiritual energy.

Detailed Puja Ritual:

1. Prepare Panchagavya or Panchamrit (a mixture of five sacred substances) and Gangajal in an achmani (a sacred vessel), along with offerings like sandalwood paste, ghee, and coconut.
2. Sit facing east and cleanse the 3 Mukhi Rudraksha by dipping it in Panchagavya or Panchamrit, followed by Gangajal.
3. Take a plate and place nine Peepal leaves on it.
4. Sprinkle Gangajal over the Rudraksha and perform a few rounds with an agarbatti, while chanting the mantras ‘AUM Namaha Shivay’ and ‘Aum Hreem Namaha’ a total of 108 times.
