How to Wear 12 Mukhi Rudraksha

Wearing the 12 Mukhi Rudraksha requires proper energization and adherence to specific rituals. Here’s a step-by-step guide to wearing this sacred bead:

1. Pran Pratisha Puja: The 12 Mukhi Rudraksha needs to be energized through the Pran Pratisha Puja. It is recommended to seek the assistance of knowledgeable individuals who can perform this ritual to empower the Rudraksha.
2. Morning Ritual: Wake up early in the morning and greet the sun by chanting the Surya Gayatri mantra. This sets a positive and auspicious start to the day.
3. Auspicious Day: Choose a Monday, preferably during Shuklapaksha (the waxing phase of the moon), to wear the Rudraksha. Mondays are considered highly auspicious for Lord Shiva.
4. Preparatory Bath: Take a bath in the morning on the chosen day and sit in front of an idol or image of Lord Shiva. This helps create a sacred atmosphere.
5. Immersion in Water and Milk: Immerse the 12 Mukhi Rudraksha in water, followed by dipping it in a bowl filled with fresh cow milk. This purifies and prepares the bead for the subsequent rituals.
6. Ritualistic Setup: Place the Rudraksha on a clean plate and light a pure lamp. Decorate the sacred space with incense sticks, sandalwood paste, and flowers. This creates a serene environment for the rituals.
7. Prayers to Deities: Initiate the puja by offering prayers to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. Then, offer your prayers to Lord Shiva, the presiding deity of the Rudraksha.
