How to Wear 10 Mukhi Rudraksha

To harness the full potential of the 10 mukhi Rudraksha, it is essential to perform a puja (ritual) for its activation before wearing it. The puja should ideally be conducted in the morning, preferably on a Monday. You will need a few common items for the puja, including agarbatti (incense sticks), white flowers, and Gangajal or Panchamrut (a sacred mixture of five ingredients). The step-by-step process for the puja is as follows:

Basic Puja Ritual:

1. Start by cleaning the 10 mukhi Rudraksha with Gangajal or Panchamrut to purify it.

Advanced Puja Ritual:

1. Gather Panchagavya/Panchamrit, Gangajal, peepal leaves, kapur (camphor), and a coconut for the puja.
2. Apply a layer of sandalwood paste to the surface of the Rudraksha using your finger.
3. Light agarbatti or kapur and waft it around the Rudraksha to invoke a sacred ambiance.
4. Offer white flowers to the Rudraksha as a symbol of devotion.
5. Touch the Rudraksha to a shivling or a photo of Lord Shiva while chanting the mantra “Om Namah Shivaya” eleven times.
6. Sit facing the east direction in a relaxed and calm state of mind.
7. Sprinkle Gangajal over the Rudraksha to cleanse it further.
8. Place nine peepal leaves on a copper plate as an offering.
9. Apply sandalwood paste to the Rudraksha and offer flowers.
10. Chant the mantra “AUM Namaha Shivay, Aum Hreem Namaha” 108 times.
